A New Jersey teacher was recently suspended for Facebook posts she made calling homosexuality a sin in 2011. Jenye “Viki” Knox was a teacher at Union High School, in Union Township, since 2000 and was also an ordained minister and a faculty advisor for the student-led Bible study at the high school. In 2011, Knox’s posts criticized the school’s promotion promotion of the LGBTQ lifestyle and called homosexuality “unnatural immoral behavior.” Knox has been suspended without pay and also has been accused of stating that homosexual teachers were “targeting” students to lead them into alternative lifestyles. Knox’s attorney said the posts were done on her time, at her home, after school hours and on her home computer.
